HealthyCats - Peer Educators
About
Healthy Cats Peer Educators are student leaders dedicated to promoting health education and wellness throughout the Texas State campus and the surrounding community through presentations and community outreach. Topics addressed include sexual health, drugs and alcohol use, stress, mental health and nutrition.
Healthy Cats host weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 5-6 PM at the Student Health Center in room 202. Our meetings are open to all students of any major. We are a program of the Health Promotion Services office of University Health Services, so all events, activities, meetings, etc. are FREE for students to attend!
You should consider participating in Healthy Cats if you have a desire to work with the Texas State community, motivation to increase knowledge of health, and a sincere concern for the overall well-being of yourself and other students.
